Memory

AI chat memories are facts about your preferences, recurring workflows, stable context, and ongoing projects, drawn from your chats with the AI Assistant. Your saved memories are applied automatically when you start new chats, so you don't need to re-explain yourself each time you work with the assistant.

Memories are generated automatically after a chat session ends. Saving new memories is on by default, and only chats that start while it's on can create them. Memories are not displayed in your chat, and you only see your own.

Manage your memories from the AI Chat Memory tab on the My Account page. You can delete individual memories, use Forget All Memories to clear the list at once, or turn memory off entirely.

Automatic Expiration

A memory that goes 12 months without being restated is deleted automatically. If you state the same fact again in a later conversation, the assistant can learn it again as a new memory.

Turning Memory Off

Disabling memory stops the AI Assistant from creating new memories and from using existing ones in new chats. It does not delete your existing memories.

Re-enabling memory lets the AI Assistant use your existing memories again and resume creating new ones. Chats created while memory was disabled will not retroactively store memories when you re-enable memory.
