Image, Audio, and Video Previews
The Files.com web interface displays supported images and plays supported audio and video in the browser. Users can inspect these files without opening an external application or choosing the normal Download action. Preview content is still transferred to the browser under the preview access rules.

Image previews also support image rotation. Files.com adds supported image types over time.
Audio and Video Playback
Audio and video preview requires no site configuration. Playback depends on the browser's native format support, so a format supported by Files.com may not play in every browser.
Opening an image or media preview records file activity and can trigger notifications. Merely displaying thumbnails in a file listing does not. See preview activity, including the additional transfer considerations for files on Remote Server Mounts.
