Remote Server & Workflow Logs

A missing delivery can involve a workflow that never ran, an operation that failed partway through, or a remote system that refused a request. Begin with the expected job and its time, then follow the relevant file and remote operation. A successful run does not establish that a receiving business application accepted or processed the file.

Automation Runs describe executions of an Automation. Use the version-specific run details to understand which actions or nodes ran and how errors affected the result.

Sync Runs & File Events explain one Sync execution and the operations it performed. The run summary and individual file events answer different questions and have different retention periods.

Outbound Connections record individual operations against Remote Servers and the Files.com Agent. These records also apply when a mounted folder is used directly, without a Sync or Automation. Review them when a particular remote list, upload, download, or other operation needs investigation.

For a file held during folder processing, use File Processing Failures. For the file actions visible on the site, use Activity History.
