This is an update to tell you about some recent changes to our Terms of Service. The changes are all in Sections 2 and 4.

This is a reminder about the cipher suite changes that we announced last month, which will take effect soon on BrickFTP.

This is a brief message to let you know that BrickFTP has updated the list of IP addresses that we make use of. If you or your users restrict outbound access via a firewall, please whitelist all of these IP addresses for ports 80, 443, 21, 22, and 990, as well as FTP data ports 40000-50000. Any required firewall changes should be made by April 1st.

Update at 5:05 PM ET: As promised, an "all clear" update regarding this Amazon S3 downtime event. Amazon has been hard at work at a fix for their S3 problems and although they have not yet announced a fix, our internal monitoring shows our customers having success with all operation types.

Here at BrickFTP, we spend a lot of time thinking about security. If you are security geeks like us, you probably heard about the recent announcement from Google that the widely used SHA1 algorithm for security is unsafe.

It's been an eventful day here at BrickFTP headquarters. I have one other security-related update to share with you.
