Files.com is operated by Action Verb LLC, doing business as Files.com. The company was founded in 2008 and brings over 15 years of experience in secure and managed file transfer. Our leadership team has over 100 combined years of expertise in cloud infrastructure and enterprise software.
Ownership & Governance
Action Verb LLC, a Nevada Limited Liability Company, is majority owned by affiliates of Riverwood Capital, a private equity firm focused on high-growth technology businesses.
The company is governed by a six-person Board of Directors that includes representatives from Riverwood and other shareholders.

Financial Security
Files.com maintains a working capital buffer sufficient to support operations through a wide range of contingencies, which are continuously evaluated through our internal risk management program.

Call Recordings
Files.com uses Zoom for phone and video calls. Recordings may be made for training and quality purposes. When a call is being recorded, participants will be notified and given the option to disconnect. Recordings are retained for a maximum of six months.
