Resetting User Passwords

Site Administrators can change the password for any user on the site. Workspace Administrators can change passwords for users within their Workspace. Group Admins can change passwords for users within their assigned group when a Site Administrator has enabled the password capability for Group Admins site-wide. Partner Admins can change passwords only for users within their own Partner and only when this capability is explicitly permitted by a Site Administrator.

When you reset a password, you are prompted to reauthenticate by entering your own password to confirm the change.

Users can also reset their own passwords through the Forgot your password? link on your site's login page. If the link is not present, enable it with the Password recovery via email security setting. Users must have an email address set in their user settings to receive a password reset email.

When creating a new user, you can set the password manually by selecting the Password authentication method (instead of the default Email signup) at user creation time.
