Same Size Files When Copying

When a Copy File automation completes successfully but a source file does not appear at the destination, the cause may be that a file of the same size already exists there. In this case, Files.com skips the copy and the automation reports success but the file is not transferred.

This most often occurs when a file has been updated at the source but its size has not changed.

To transfer files regardless of whether a same-sized file already exists at the destination, enable Overwrite the existing files with new ones in the automation's destination settings. We recommend leaving this option disabled to avoid wasted data transfer.
