Sync Runs Logs

A Sync Run represents a single execution of a Sync configuration and summarizes the outcome of all Sync events that occurred during that execution.

If you are looking for overall Sync outcomes, refer to the Syncs logs. If you are looking for detailed, per-action activity performed against Remote Servers or Files.com on-premise agents, refer to the Outbound Connections log.

We retain these logs for 90 days.

Details Recorded in Sync Runs Logs

Sync runs logs contain critical information about activity, including the following details.

IDID of the Sync Run. Linked to the Sync Run details, where you can view the individual Sync events for that execution.
StatusOverall outcome of the Sync Run.
Created AtWhen the Sync Run record was created.
Updated AtWhen the Sync Run record was last updated.
Sync IDID of the Sync configuration. Linked to the Sync setup page, where you can view the configuration details.
Completed AtWhen the Sync Run finished executing.
Source Remote Server TypeType of Remote Server used as the source.
Destination Remote Server TypeType of Remote Server used as the destination.
Compared FilesNumber of files compared during the Sync Run.
Successful FilesNumber of files successfully synced during the Sync Run.
Errored FilesNumber of files that were not successfully synced due to errors.
Compared FoldersNumber of folders compared during the Sync Run.
Bytes SyncedNumber of bytes transferred during the Sync Run.
Runtime (sec)Total number of seconds the Sync Run took to complete.
Event ErrorsError details recorded during the Sync Run.

Sync Run Status

The Status column reflects the outcome of the Sync Run, which represents one execution of a Sync configuration.

STATUSMEANING
In ProgressThe run exists and is still executing.
SuccessThe run completed and no errors were recorded.
Partial FailureThe run completed and included both successful actions and errors.
FailureThe run completed, and errors occurred with no successful work.
SkippedThe run completed but did not perform meaningful work.
