Syncs Logs

The Syncs section of the Automated Actions logs shows the status and details of individual Sync events across your site. Each Sync event represents a specific operation performed as part of a scheduled transfer of files or folders between a source and a destination location.

Sync operations are Sync, List, Delete, Delete Source, Sync Overwrite, Create Directory, and Write Trigger File.

This log provides detailed information for each event, including when it started, which Sync configuration it belongs to, what operation was performed, and the outcome.

Each event also includes an External Event ID, which identifies a specific execution of a Sync configuration. The External Event ID links to detailed logs showing the individual actions performed during that run. Informational messages and error details are included when applicable, making this log useful for troubleshooting file-level synchronization issues.

We retain Sync logs for 180 days.

Sync actions that are performed against Remote Servers will also be detailed in the Outbound Connections log.
