Email and Notifications
Email and Notifications logs record inbound emails received by your Inboxes, outbound emails sent by the platform, and the results of webhook calls made from your site. Together they give administrators a complete audit trail for message delivery and event-driven outbound activity.
Use these logs when investigating why an email notification did not arrive, confirming that a webhook fired and received a successful response, or auditing which emails an Inbox accepted or rejected. Because email and webhook failures are often silent from the end-user perspective, these logs are the primary diagnostic tool for delivery issues.
Logs in This Section
Inbound Emails records emails received by Inboxes configured with an email address. Each entry shows the sender, the receiving Inbox, attachment details, and whether the email was accepted, failed, or skipped due to domain filtering or file-type restrictions.
Outbound Emails records email notifications sent by Files.com, including file activity alerts, user account emails, and share link notifications. Use this log to confirm delivery and investigate cases where a recipient did not receive an expected email.
Webhook Logs records the result of each webhook call made from your site to an external URL. Each entry shows the file that triggered the call, the destination URL, and the HTTP response. Use Webhook Logs to diagnose failed deliveries and verify that downstream systems received their notifications.
