In June 2025, we delivered key improvements to user management and integration capabilities. Highlights include upcoming changes to IP addresses, new tools for managing users and groups, and enhanced AS2 functionality.
Files.com's May 2025 update introduced a major MCP Server for AI integration with file management workflows. Other key additions include automated User Lifecycle Rules for managing inactive accounts, a Permissions Audit Export tool for security compliance, Microsoft Teams webhook notifications for real-time collaboration, and enhanced Google Cloud Storage support with HMAC authentication.
Files.com now supports notifications to Microsoft Teams! This brand-new integration improves the way your teams stay updated and helps surface more real-time information to them.
Files.com introduced powerful new admin tools, including self-service file restore, improved Automation retries, and SCIM for Read-only Admins. Highlights also include Azure Government Blob support, a key Windows Agent update, and performance boosts for the Editor.
In March 2025, we introduced major updates across the Files.com ecosystem, including better access controls for child sites and automatic drive mapping for the Desktop v6 App. We also made many smaller improvements, such as a new force-download option for public hosting, clearer GPG key error messages, speeding up page loads, improving navigation, and expanding access to key features.
