AS2 Logs

The AS2 log records inbound and outbound AS2 transmissions between your Files.com site and your AS2 trading partners, including Message Disposition Notification (MDN) information when available.

Each entry shows the transmission direction (Inbound or Outbound), the sender's Trading Partner ID, the recipient's Trading Partner ID, the end status (success or failure), and the size and name of the transmitted file. When the file contents are available, the entry links to them. When an MDN exists for the transfer, the entry indicates it and links to the MDN.

The log also details the results of each AS2 processing step: receipt, decryption, verification of the digital signature, and sending the MDN back. It records the AS2 HTTP Response Code and the AS2 HTTP Response Headers.

Files.com retains these logs for 90 days by default. You can extend the duration up to 365 days in the Message Retention Timeframe setting.
