Inboxes Usage

Two types of logs are available for Inboxes. Inbox Usage logs cover upload activity. Inbox Registration logs cover user registrations for the selected Inbox.

Inbox Usage

The Inbox Usage log captures upload activity for the selected Inbox. Each entry records which files were uploaded, the folder path they landed in, and the registered user responsible for the upload when the Inbox required registration.

Uploads to Inboxes also appear in the Site Activity History. Because these actions are not tied to a logged-in user, the username in the Site Activity History is blank.

We retain these logs for 1 year.

Inbox Registrations

The Inbox Registration log captures user registrations for the selected Inbox. Each entry records the responses the user provided to the registration form's input fields, along with the ClickWrap used for the registration when the Inbox required one.

The standard input fields on a registration form are Name, Email Address, and Company Name. When the Inbox uses a Custom Form, the field names match the Custom Form and the responses to those custom fields appear in the log.

We retain these logs for the lifetime of the Inbox. When the Inbox is deleted, the associated registrations are also deleted.
