SSH Restrictions

Files.com restricts SSH to file transfer capabilities only. SFTP and SCP work for transferring files, and SSH Keys work for authentication. No other SSH services are provided. Shell access and SSH tunneling are unavailable.

An open SSH port is expected for SFTP and SCP and does not establish that shell access or tunneling is available. Evaluate a security scan against the specific capability it reports; port availability alone is not evidence of those services.
