SSH Restrictions

Files.com restricts SSH to file transfer capabilities only. SFTP and SCP work for transferring files, and SSH Keys work for authentication. No other SSH services are provided. Shell access and SSH tunneling are unavailable.

Security scans detect SSH availability and may report it as a finding. This is a false positive: SFTP and SCP are subsets of SSH, so the SSH port is open by necessity. No SSH capabilities beyond those required by SFTP and SCP are available on the Files.com platform.
