Mounting Files.com via WebDAV on Windows

The preferred way to mount Files.com as a drive on Windows is the Files.com Desktop App. When the Desktop App is not an option for a given use case, you can mount Files.com as a drive using WebDAV instead.

Mapping The Network Drive

Open Windows Explorer from Start > Computer or by pressing Windows + E, then click Map Network Drive. The screens may look different depending on the version of Windows you're using.

In the folder field, enter https://SUBDOMAIN.files.com/, replacing SUBDOMAIN with your Files.com subdomain. Check the connect using different credentials box and click Finish.

On the next screen, enter your Files.com username and password, then click OK.

If everything was entered correctly, Windows Explorer shows the files on your site. You can browse and access the drive like any other, including by drag and drop.
