Add a Remote Server
Navigate to the Integrations tab in the Files.com platform, select Dropbox, and “Add Dropbox as a Remote Server.” Give your connection a pseudonym so you can identify it amongst other connections of the same type.

Connect to Remote Server
On the Remote Server tab, select the three dots button under Actions, and click “Connect.” You’ll be taken to a Dropbox sign-in page where you can enter the credentials for your Dropbox account.

Integrate Dropbox With Files.com For Managed File Transfer

Files.com provides two types of email integrations.

Files.com can receive inbound email attachments and can send outbound email notifications.

Files.com Inboxes can be configured with an email address, allowing received email attachments to be uploaded to the Inbox.

The Files.com Inbox feature includes the ability to configure an email address for the Inbox.

Any email sent to the email address will have its attachments uploaded into the Inbox folder.

Received email attachments are treated the same as other files uploaded to the Inbox, allowing you to integrate with other features of Files.com, such as GPG, Automations, and Remote Sync.

You can have as many Inboxes as you wish, each with its own email address.

Files.com folders can be configured to send email notifications, based on actions that occur within the folder.

The Files.com Email Notifications feature allows you to schedule notifications to users of the folder.

You can configure email notifications for as many folders as you wish.

Email notifications can be scheduled on a 5 minute, 15 minute, hourly, or daily interval and can be triggered by Upload, Download, Move, Copy, and Delete file actions.

Received email attachments are uploaded to the Inbox, allowing you to integrate with other features of Files.com, such as GPG, Automations, and Remote Sync.

Using this native Files.com integration with Filebase, customers can seamlessly integrate Files.com platform capabilities with Filebase's decentralized cloud storage network. InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a peer-to-peer network protocol, designed to provide fast global access to data by storing data in a decentralized and globally distributed file system.

IFPS is used to provide resilient cloud storage, and global accessibility, for web content, media, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).

As a decentralized storage solution, it can be thought of as providing the opposite of data sovereignty, ensuring that stored data is not placed under the control of a single authority.
