The Agent makes only outbound connections: no inbound firewall rule and no machine in the DMZ. Globalscape EFT can run entirely inside your network, control plane included; Files.com runs the control plane as a cloud service, and the Agent keeps the file bytes on your storage. A HIPAA BAA is available for PHI workloads.
Files.com’s US-based engineering team runs the migration end-to-end: folder structures recreated path for path, counterparty accounts, PGP keys, scheduled flows, and SSO configuration all move with our team doing the work.
